This painting toke forever to complete. I first started it as a watercolor in high summer but it kept raining before I could complete it. I waited a year and went back the next summer but the light still wasn't right. The next time I worked on it it had then become fall and the picture was finally completed.
About Carol DENMARK
Welcome to my web page. Although I discovered art at the age of 10 it took me a long time and two other careers to rediscover it. When my oldest daughter went away to college I became a docent at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). I was leading a tour of the museum in one of the galleries when I discovered a class copying works of some of our greatest American artists right in front of the pictures. I knew then that I had found what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Carol Sack Denmark is a lawyer who is now an artist. She lives in the Philadelphia area.
